SLOPE REINFORCEMENT
Green Terramesh® is used in Reinforced Soil Slopes (RSS) for road, industrial, and residential areas. It is a versatile modular system designed to produce a steeply sloping vegetated face. A steel reinforcement mesh is factory assembled to provide rigidity to the faces up to 60 degrees to allow growth. Green Terramesh® is especially very economical for structures between 45 to 60 degrees because it has a manufactured pre-assemble stiffness panel on the facing to speed up the installation. MacGrid® WG is a woven geogrid used for Reinforced Soil Slope (RSS) structures of virtually any height, and for stabilizing roads or parking areas. As a vegetated system, a Roll Erosion Control product like MacMat® or Biomac® will be used on the facing to control erosion. It can be very economical for slopes of 45 degrees or less because no facing device will be required for the installation. MacGrid® is manufactured by Maccaferri and available in a large variety of strengths.
TerrawallTM is a wire wall system with near vertical facing made of a continuous steel mesh that forms the facing element and the reinforcement. It is best used for transportation projects or the mining industry. It is a very economical system for temporary and permanent wall systems that require minimal labor on the site.
Terramesh® System is a Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) wall using gabion facing with a continuous mesh that forms the reinforcement and the facing element in one unit. It is perfect for high slope stability and erosion protection.
