Waterlogs are rolls of coir (coconut husk) fiber, bound together with a woven coir netting used for streambank stabilization and shoreline protection on low energy flows.
They are 100% natural and biodegradable.
They provide a stable medium for establishing vegetation which provides long term erosion protection to the banks of the watercourse.
Waterlogs have high moisture retention properties and generally last for 4-8 years. They work better on a streambank when the native soil is cohesive clay-like material.
